I absolutely love my job working for the Army and bring superior skills, knowledge, and abilities in supporting the troops on a daily basis.
It's the terrible people I have to work with in the other related departments who screw things up constantly due to poor training in a high turnover environment. Their inadequacies and incompetencies make our job regretful in many ways. In short, this hostile gov't run environment has permanent 'going postal' syndrome.

@PatKirby Different countries, very similar problems. Will the world ever get better? but you said you're near retirement. That's good news. Lots of travel plans?
