Personally? I got my dog, cats, gf, books, movies, and this place to help with that.
As far as society goes, not sure. I think parents and maybe teachers need to do a lot to help foster an environment of trust and safety when we're young so that people feel more comfortable approaching others and taking risks with their friendliness. It probably takes some help at the communal level where we provide spaces for people to socialize in. Seems like all we can do now is feel awkward and bury our heads in our phones
