Attachment styles are so interesting

When we grow up having to earn the emotional validation around us, or we are told through actions we are only accepted if we behave a certain way, we become conditioned to seek that behaviour in partners.

We know how to appease this person, it feels familiar to the brain. That's mine and the anxious - avoidant dynamic.

Anxious and secure partners have never felt "right" to me, but this is conditioning from childhood. Interesting revelation.

I don't mind sharing this as it's very common and good to know. Maybe I just want to as well 🙂 you'll probably see patterns like this in your own life.
