what can you do when you're ' down in the dumps'

i live alone, lived alone 20 years...my only support mechanism now are my elderly mum and dad, but i'm exceptionally close to my mum, she lives far from me now but phones me 4 times a day....i got a text from my mum before saying she is not feeling very well, so she has gone to lie down for a while and that she'll phone me later.

and because i love, care and worry about my mum, the text worried me so i texted my mum back and asked is she was okay and what's wrong? she replied she's okay just feeling under the weather and she'll talk later.

but because i live with severe anxiety and i worry a lot, especially about my mother...i'm sat in my little flat worried about my mum and feeling a bit panicky and down?

how can i handle this time?

How far away does she live? I hope she feels better soon and can call you.
I can imagine how worried you are.

If you are very worried about your Mum, it might be nice to sit down and make her a very flowery card, and write her a poem inside the card.

You suffer from co-dependency. Start there.
