My wife was in ICU with an infection, but was doing well and soon to be discharged. I got a call from the nurse, telling me to hurry back to the hospital because there had been a complication. I got there and they wouldn't let me into ICU because they were working on her. Through the door, I could see a team of doctors and nurses frantically working on her body. I asked if she was okay, and the nurse said, "We don't know." The few minutes seemed like hours before a doctor came out to tell me she was fine, but that she had crashed. Thank God, she was in ICU so they caught it as soon as it happened and could respond.

@braveheart21 I'm sorry to hear that. Lynn was only in ICU because no other room was available to track her vital signs.

@exexec my wife had been ill in hospital for four weeks then things went downhill fast.. Turned out she had developed Sepsis and wasn't strong enough to fight it.. Lost her in a week

@braveheart21 That is really awful! It was sepsis that caused my wife to crater, but she was healthy otherwise and could fight it.
