I tried to do a small project with my dad and then we argued and stopped.

He wants to jump in and tell everybody how to do to everything but then as soon as I ask a question he gets frustrated like I'm failing to understand. I feel like I understand perfectly. We can't do it in the street because neighbors will get annoyed, we can't do it in the driveway because it's not level ground, we can't do it in the garage because the floor is too expensive, we can't do it in the grass because it's grass.

Most people I talk to from his generation are the "do it yourself" generation but there's no place and no way to do anything because it will always bother somebody who expects me to be as rich and fancy as them. This is why people learned to just pay to have something done or else live without it.

Uh, the floor in the garage is too expensive to do the things people normally do in the garage? That seems to be a "him-problem" lol, sorry for laughing, but that is just ridiculous. That is what garages are for. 😬
@Saage You can laugh especially because what you're saying is true.

@SinlessOnslaught You and your father are like and day in many ways, but I bet there are also ways in which you can find yourself in him, and he in you.
