Stages of grief ?

Day 1 - relief. I did what I could. Now no one can say it was my fault *sigh of relief. + he saw my posts and liked them in a second. I felt seen and got a bit of validation

Day 2 - I don't want to talk to you again. Not a word

Day 3 - I terribly miss you

Day 4 - I'm angry and if we were to talk in person now, I'd yell at you. I'm angry you couldn't love me, angry you chose other things over me, angry at how you switched from being someone who looks at me with starry eyes to someone who doesn't care. I want to scream at you

There’s nothing wrong with any of those feelings in my opinion. We humans are a complicated bunch aren’t we?
There will come a time when all of this will be less traumatic for you - time is an unbelievably good healer. You’ll figure out a lot of the answers yourself, and be a stronger person for doing so. These are things I know to be true from personal experience having come out the other side, and you’ll do the same. Don’t worry. You’ll be alright x

Thats usually how it goes. In the moment you feel free, some relief. Then you are in that i don't care what you do. And Why are you talking to me? Phase. Then by that 3rd day reality creeps in that person is gone and you miss them. By that 4th day you get pissed thinking about what they did or didn't do to contribute to how you are feeling right now. And how you got into this position in the 1st place.
I know the feeling. It is like a rollercoaster. Some moments you don't care.. Then you do, eventually it'll pass. 😐
That is a description of the truly jolting nature of how the loss of another in your innermost circle can be...

The stages of grief are different for everyone. Read Elisabeth K. Ross.
@Wiseacre does it talk about break ups as well?

@Lovebird I don’t recall, but she is an expert.
