The worst form of suffering in the world.

From ages 1-6 I thought it was my scrapped knee when I fell off my bike.
From ages 7-23 I thought it was loneliness.
From ages 24-30 I thought it was hurting those I love.
From ages 30+ I feel it is any moment I left my well-being up to anything other than myself.

I currently think loneliness is the worst form of suffering and general isolation.

I say at least I’m not being tortured, but it doesn’t feel like a kind of torture from time to time. Then I say at least I’m not in pain, but then there is a sort of emotional pain that comes with it. Then I say at least I’m healthy, but then there’s a toll on my emotional health.

Though at least I’m alive, so there’s that. Maybe I’ll find connection tomorrow.

@Aidan I felt that way too until I realized my loneliness was causing a problem for those I care about. Being a problem for them was a worse feeling. It didn’t matter what company I had if I couldn’t take proper care of them because of personal problems with loneliness. That’s what it took to change my mind.

There are many forms of suffering far worse than those.. those are mainly sadness and deprivation aside from the scraped knee.. i guess it’s an internal emotional suffering

@YoMomma It’s okay. I’m not like that anymore. I’m doing much better now. I’ve seen people who have chronic physical pain and emotional matters didn’t bother them as much. So it might just be whatever pain we’ve had the most of makes all other kinds less impactful.

Yes, you must take care of yourself first.
