For the ladies. ...

What has your experience of being a girl and a woman been like for you ?
For me it has made me feel unsafe. My whole entire life. I had to become too rough. I have felt chased and hunted and traumatized. I don't want any more eyes on me.

One heck of a crazy ride. It has its pros and cons, and while I appreciate the benefits of having been born a female, at the same time, it has also made me feel vulnerable many times in my life. Much as I tell myself I'm strong for having survived painful experiences, the feeling of being unsafe never really goes away. I was once an extrovert, which unknowingly invited unwanted attention, perhaps giving the impression that I would be okay with whatever treatment some thought alright and over time, I realized I am better off as an introvert because I get a sense of control being one. I don't think being a woman makes us vulnerable only to men; ironically, I get treated very badly by women and that has been a constant in my life which is more painful because we are supposed to support each other.

For me its the opposite. I started off feeling rough, i had to be. Once i left the environment and never looked back ive felt empowered because a lot of people do not make it out alive, or out of the cycle itself. So i have no fear because I've had to fight my whole life. But it did not harden me. Thats whats so amazing about it.
Honestly there's been a lot of abuse in my life from a lot of people..

I refuse to let that define me though
