I find it interesting...

...that when you respond to someone with the same tone they spoke to you in, they either become enamored or insulted, depending on the tone.

If they become insulted, it is usually because they don't like to have themselves mirrored. Then they insist they weren't being the way you returned to them.

This is why knowing the way you communicate and how what you type is read by other people is important. I'm sure it's uncomfortable when someone shows they know exactly the tone you put into it.

I agree, but after being here since the site opened, I have found that there are folks that will just make up their own minds about what you typed and run with that thought without ever thinking or even asking what you meant to begin with.

Typed conversations are truly way more difficult to have and to hold than a verbal face to face one for sure.

@WillaKissing I wish more people asked questions to verify instead of just assuming. And I could be better at asking questions too. Typing is hard at times to decipher tone.

@FoxyQueen Exactly. If I am ever in doubt, I will ask the person that made the post to clarify what they meant as well as replies I have on my posts so as to understand the person intent instead of guessing.
