So I was struggling to get the plastic cover off my deodorant and my dad really dad. She takes it from me and twist the bottom a few times and it popped right off. All these years I've been doing it the hard way lol

I thought it was obvious that if a person lacks empathy something is very wrong with them, but apparently that’s no longer a universal belief—if it ever was. 🥺

People don't actually want to know the truth of how messed up the world is.

They don't want to hear that the president of the United States has opened a concentration camp in El Salvador.

They don't want to know that a far-right fascist think tank has conspired with America's billionaire class to seize all three branches of government.

They don't want to understand that democracy is dead.

They want to hear that everything's going to be okay, and the leftists are just overreacting again, and even if Trump is kind of a weird guy, there's no way he can possibly do what he is, in fact, in the process of doing.

It's all a con.
