I have a similar situation. I'm blunt, which takes ppl back.

@Wiseacre This. And let me give you an example.
Let's say an acquaintance is in distress and looking for help, they put out a general request for help 9 people say, "I am so sorry babe but I just can't help, sending prayers, blah, blah."
Along comes the blunt person, "WTF did you do this time and fixes it/helps them fix it."
Who is thanked? The people who were all noise and no action.
Who is forgotten? The person who fixed it but was blunt. (Forgotten until the next time.)

Well! Nobody is totally wrong. We all react based on our past experiences and future expectations.

@Donotfolowme true. I just wish my person in question would communicate instead of keeping everything at surface level.

@TurnAyWay still the same answer we all react based on our experiences
If she had a bad experience previously then chances are thin for her to communicate
A lot of us suffer for others' mistake
Some people leave life long marks on others and then they punish the ones their lives

@TurnAyWay You'll have to take them as they are.
