Sunny afternoon thoughts

I had just shared a video where celebrities and tv personalities were acting weird, but I didn't like it on my re-watch, the re-play slo-motion and old style audio slowing was baaaaad, like how stretched out tape playing sounds like, and it was as if it was put together by some stoned teenagers, if I would have seen it in the late 90's I would have been really impressed but some parts I find interesting.

I think there's cases where famous people are under some kind of possession kind of thing, pure speculation on what it is though, and it feels uncouth to be sensationalizing what may be mental health problems. So I decided to nix it, as I can only post what I would want to be posted, however if I become possessed and share things that go against the cumulative requirements of how I view aesthetic matters then call an exorcist quick!!

I like finding scary videos generally but more often than not they're lacking that authentic quality, there's a market for such things and people with a smattering of technical know how will milk it for all its worth, sadly.

But if I ever find what I feel is bona-fide creepy sheet, I'll share it here, that's part of the thing now.

So for a refresher here's the deal for literature

1st Antiquity
2nd favorite thinkers
3rd the angry extreme stuff
4th old school atheism

expanding on these

1 -- Greece and Rome, too much investment and it really is where I want to spend most of my time with those far removed in time times, the whole thing, everything non-christian, from wildly popular things to hardly discussed things at all, and their applicable secondary literature both light and scholarly.

2 -- oh these fellas and I also mean the precious few female authors too, including the radical feminists, Mary Daly and Andrea Dworkin to name the two most prominent of them, I surely need them for what number 3 contains.

3 -- The star of this category lent his name to give us the term sadistic, and other extreme controversial stuff, there's been times when I went scouting for this kind of thing, and everything I ever explored and collected for the kindle will have their time in the sun as long as there's breathe in me except maybe Puritans and theology, I dunno if i'll ever be able to stomach that stuff again.

4 -- whenever anyone extols the wonders of the new atheism of the 2000's I go at least just to myself, I'd rather just read d'Holbach and La Mettrie, those guys will suffice and maybe also Lucretius' Nature of Things, and whatever that is of old vintage. However I do like the 2nd chapter of Dawkins God Delusion where he makes fun of the God of the Bible, it's almost like reading Nietzsche in that section, but all that talk about science does nothing for me to be honest, if I want atheism, I just want a antidote to Christianity. BUT the whole Darwinian thing might click for me, I doubt it though. Darwin to me is unknowable, just like Marx, there is no way for me to really get them, i'd need to have a hands on approach and make my own experiments and that's not happening, all I can do is think of things, and scientific enquiry goes beyond just thinking about things, and as for Marx, I need to let Politics actually effect me, and for that to happen I have to take more of a part in active living, and that's not happening.

Sharing is caring it is said, but this kind of sharing just makes the sharer breathe a sigh of relief, muttering, ahh so that's over with, back to my reading!!
