I don't really know why anyone would care about this.
I've been thinking more about Warhammer: The Old World, which is the game the High Elves I've been planning out are from. I really kinda like the Bretonnian cavalry, while the 'standard' High Elf cavalry models are... let's say, lacking. I'm not going to get into Bretonnia any time soon, and I prefer the infantry of the High Elves over the Bretonnian cavalry (also not keen to paint the livery on the horsemen). But as you can ally Bretonnia to High Elves, that's why I've been thinking about them. I'm also not a fan of the metal models that Bretonnia has a lot of, to the point that I want to get a finecast resin version of the High Elf special character Korhil - finecast is known for its extreme number of gates and air bubbles, but I can deal with those as long as the air bubbles haven't removed entire features (the first runs had whole bits missing to air bubbles, but later runs got a lot better).
I also made an army list consisting of everything I want and some things which I'd only want once I got the more important/exciting units. It came to 6750 points, which seems like way too much? I hope I can paint all of that. I think there was like 111 Sea Guard models in that list, but that's a VERY long-term thing which I'm trying not to think about because it's anxiety-inducing. First thing first, got to repaint the Loremaster I've already got to bring him in line with the colour scheme I have for the entire army, then paint Ishaya Vess once she arrives. I'm both a bit anxious and still very excited for this.
