I too love peace and quiet.
I live in a rural area, but on a busy road.
House is 200 feet off the road, so that helps a little.

I can understand that need for piece and the freedom to do what you want, when you want.

Free to really let yourself go and not worry about the volume.

I feel you. I am very noise sensitive .

I have a place of my own, proud of it but too lonely

You'll always have dishes to do & dust to clean unless your filthy rich
