@powernap I felt you deserved it and I'm sure the Lord did, too, as the Lord is pleased and feels good when someone rededicates their life to him, as it signifies a sincere commitment to follow Him and turn away from sin, which is seen as an act of love and dedication towards God. It represents a person choosing to deepen their relationship with him.

The Bible emphasizes God's willingness to forgive and renew relationships with Him, when someone repents and returns to Him, making rededication a positive act in His eyes. Rededication goes beyond just a simple acceptance of faith... it implies a conscious decision to actively live a life dedicated to God's will.

The Bible describes God as a loving Father who rejoices when His children choose to come closer to Him. So congratulations!

@powernap I became a believer on July 21st, 1973, myself. In the seventies haha. We all experience that up and down thing, that's because our moods change and we lose sight of whom we should focus on, or we stop reading our Bible and meditating on him, perhaps stop praying cuz we get lazy, but God is so loving and forgiving. He understands all that and he loves us anyway and is always ready to fellowship with us. There is no end to his love for us. It's good if we can get a routine started where we deliberately make time for him and keep that schedule to get in the habit of it. Cuz that devil brings all kinds of distractions to us. Try to read your Bible everyday and when you can, watch some good ministers on YouTube who will bless your life, but choose carefully. I try to remind myself that if I love the Lord, which I do, I will make time for fellowship with him and when we love the Lord, it's not a chore to make time for him or fellowship with him. It is a blessing and privilege. But sometimes we do have to discipline ourselves and not allow Satan to give us distractions. We can turn off our phone and TV when we read the bible, and pray. We can read devotionals and just stay focused on the Lord instead of all the things going on in this world that are negative. We can set aside a certain time and even write that time down on paper until we get used to it.

I don't know of any follower of Christ that uses that as an excuse to hate anyone. If they do, then they can't call themselves Christians.

@Captainjackass I'll just say one last thing. Jesus said that where we spend eternity is up to us and he tells us that Jesus will save anyone who comes to Him, not just some. Not one of us has to miss heaven but that's up to the individual. Cuz Jesus turns no one away. And if you're going to include trans for whatever reason, then you better include the whole world because Jesus excludes no one who wants to invite him into their hearts and lives as Savior.
