Have you heard of Service/Domestic Help like when you hire someone to do housechores?

@Notladylike oh thats like a weekly cleaning yea?
They clean the whole house but they wouldnt do the cooking, dishes, laundry and baking etc would they?

@Donotfolowme I’ve never asked. They’ll do laundry and extra tasks on request. Mainly putting away is what I need help with. I used to do that stuff when I worked as a nanny, I’d put dinner on for the family, iron, tidy basically slave labour 😂

@Notladylike Oh okay and why slave labor didn't they pay you well for all the important tasks you did for them?

@Donotfolowme I went to France to be an aupair. It’s supposed to be a cultural kind of experience and you aren’t supposed to have to do household chores that don’t involve the children. I was getting paid 100 euros a week to clean the house daily, iron the husbands shirts, do the laundry, care for the girls, take the dog to the vet. Everything basically 😂
