A letter to my inner child

Despite my best efforts to provide assistance, the outcomes consistently deviated from my persistence.

I tried to love you the best I could only to realize nothing ever panned out as I thought it would.

I am deeply and enduringly attached to you, even though we are apart. This is an extremely challenging situation for me and especially my heart. Existing in this realm of shattered aspirations, I find it difficult to experience a sense of fulfillment or even find inspiration.

The day will eventually arrive when all this suffering will come to an end. Until that moment, I shall deeply miss you, my dear friend. With each passing moment of time, the clock of my life will continue to chime.
