is it safe to tell a therapist that i hate everyone?

@ArtieKat i just don't want to tell them too much. otherwise they'll involve my parents.

@looping If you're an adult then your parents can't be involved without your consent.

My late father was a Consultant Child Psychiatrist who dealt with patients up to school-leaving age. It was his belief that any personality problems usually stem from interactions within the family unit and would proceed on that basis.

Sorry to be brutal but if you need help then you need help.

@looping probably unavoidable talking about it but they can't tell your parents what you have discussed.
