Why would someone create false rumours about another person?

Beware of the so called friends who appear to care for you, whispering things about another person to you. They could just be making all that crap up. Maybe they just enjoy watching you react.

Happen to me recently, female I had known for many years on Yahoo Answers & followed to Reddit.

Made up crap about other users of which I believed.

I went in to support her,,,,, only to find out it was all bullshit

@SW-User I have seen that kind of thing happen on EP and even SW before. It makes me wary of all the gossip groups. So many people get invested in gossip that they do not pause to think whether they are hearing things that make sense. They just want to be inflamed and react and get all unhinged.
