Why would someone create false rumours about another person?

Beware of the so called friends who appear to care for you, whispering things about another person to you. They could just be making all that crap up. Maybe they just enjoy watching you react.

I've been on the receiving end and I simply don't care. I don't do drama or gossip. At one point I tried to figure it out but I'm just glad I don't understand. When they pop up, I block them.

@SW-User She wasn't my friend. Also a stranger though I have seen her on posts. She just came at me with accusations and I tried talking to her because I knew she was hurting based on her posts.
But either she is brainwashed or she made up the whole thing, using someone elses name to come at me.
