It is not just a feeling. It is the truth. Everyone needs and should be protected. It is not feminine but also plenty in psychology to demonstrate that manliness has femininity too. The anima and animus, the yin and yang..we are like planes of dimensions and we have different leanings but no so different scales.
Relationship can offer an opportunity for growth when done right, and with the right person. Your person can protect you emotionally or create a toxic environment.

I love protecting my man emotionally! I know I can’t do much for him physically. But when it comes to protecting his heart, I am his biggest hero. I love him so much, and I want him to feel comfortable being vulnerable with me. Anything that’s on his mind is safe with me. I’m like his walking diary lmao. And he is the same for me. No it’s not too much to ask. A woman who loves you will do that naturally. No questions asked. You just have to be vulnerable and able to open up! I hope that you find that one day. Everyone deserves this kind of love and safety, no matter the gender.

There are women that are looking for someone to nurture.
Like men, they are not all wired the same.

No matter how kind they may be, they can’t protect you. You allow yourself to be vulnerable to a certain point, and feelings can quickly change

you are so cute omg
Nah…it doesn’t make you gay. We all are wired differently. Women who are more outgoing and career oriented would love a man like you who is good at looking after home and kids. It’s perfectly normal here. I know a friend who is v famous in her professional career…her husband left med school and looks after their 3 kids. They’re a v awesome and well-respected couple.

@Vivaci Wait... I didn't mean I wanna be a househusband 😅😂
Lolz…I mean, there are women who don’t mind protecting….read between the lines, silly. You just have to find the right woman. 😊@SW-User

Men have emotions also, we are just told that it's not okay to share them
I don't think you're less masculine, just more honest with yourself

I think it's human to feel the need to lean on someone from time to time.
HannibalAteMeOut · 22-25, F
Idk if that's feminine but everyone has a softer side and I hope you find that protection
Wiseacre · F
Nothing wrong with that!
calicuz · 56-60, M
Being gay is simply a sexual attraction to other men. Everything else is you being you, and there is nothing wrong with wanting to be protected.
Mysticeve · 22-25, F
Are you sexually attracted to men?
TheOneyouwerewarnedabout · 46-50, MVIP

deadgerbil · 26-30, M
How would the feeling of needing protection make you gay/homosexual?

@deadgerbil The lesson is that I cannot use that word without getting cancelled. Correct?
deadgerbil · 26-30, M
@SW-User you'll be flogged in the town square for not getting precise with your language

Everyone wants to feel safe. That’s not a “feminine” thing, that’s a human thing.
I strive to create that environment emotionally for my fiancé because I know he needs it. Dudes have way too much pressure from society to act a certain way at the expense of their own mental well-being. I know I don’t always hit the mark… but I do my damndest.
