Do the things you enjoy. Stay away from the ones who makes you feel bad, including people.
Listen to music, watch TV, play a video game, read a book, dance, sing. Do whatever you need to keep your mind from the negative.
The bad thing is, once you leave depression, you can always bounce right back in it. Depression is not curable, but you can make it subside for years and live a happy and normal life.
