my bloom (poetry)

my bloom
I’ll let you
roam my gardens now,
but please be gentle where you tread.
I’ll let you
place me in fresh soil,
my hungry flower must be fed.
I’ll let you
quench my thirst with rain,
dripping wet from the sky above.
I’ll let you
slowly coax my bloom,
so you can feel my blossomed love.
I’ll let you
feel my leaves brush by,
soft as a breeze upon your cheek.
I’ll let you
taste my petals now,
as I tremble, and knees grow weak.
