When I watch Pelicans circling high in the sky, at a certain point in that circle they disappear from view.
It is as if at a certain angle they have a cloaking phenomenon🤔
No one can give me an explanation

@SoLeRiMix Thank you. I have done plenty of research and have not come up with a answer.
When the Pelicans are circling high up, about 10,000 feet, they disappear and reappear within that circle.
I often see this occur.
Sometimes you might hear a small plane flying high overhead but can not see it.
I think it has something to do with light refraction. 🤷‍♂️
