I let them continue, I like to see how creative they can be. Also I like to see how stupid they think I am that I'll believe their crap.

I poke holes in everything they say until they realize I know they are lying and then they just storm off. It's really entertaining. Hell, I just got to do that recently with my girlfriend's sister and her boyfriend. It was a longer process because the 2 of them are incredibly dense, but it was entertaining.

Depends on the situation and the lie.
Sometimes I like to watch it play out. Let them get what they are after. And confront them at the end of it.

Or... Do you want to believe the lie so badly that you just pretend it isn't happening and hope it gets better? :/

I just can't take it when someone is speaking to me yet what they are saying is nothing, it's just a lie. I can't take it!

I've tried calling people out on lying to my face, but they're usually so adamant that they're not lying that it's a never ending dance. I've learned to just stop listening when I hear the first lie I know for a fact is a lie. There's no point in investing any energy into them after that.

I let them continue and see where it goes. Knowledge is power !

I like to call the person out on their lie most of the time. Other times I let them keep lying so I can watch what they say and see if they can really be creative/

Even if what the lie is about wasn't a big deal it would still drive me crazy! I think I would stop it.

Depends sometimes I let people hang themselves with their lies, other times I have zero patience and call them out immediately. It really depends how grievous of a lie it is.

I will let the person continue, and then if in the mood, will pull the rug out from under their story with evidence to the contrary.
