Might be the best way going away, no pain, no suffer, no warning, no awareness.

It definitely hurts. I have had open heart surgery, several angioplasties over the last 15 years or so. I now suffer from from frequent angina attacks which feel like the beginning of a heart attack. I must carry Nitroglycerin at all times.
At this point there is nothing they can do for me except medication. My heat is good its not getting enough blood to the left side. Fact of life for me at this point. I have also suffered several strokes the first one being a complication from the open heart surgery 15 years ago. I am one of the fortunate stroke survivers as the strokes have balance and my fine motor skills. I'm able to speak, and walk although assisted, and I am thankful for that.
Please pay attention to your health when you are younger. Also check into family history. Arterial disease runs in my family, dad, grandfather past away early do to this and brothers have had heart issues at a young age.

I lost 3 of my people completely unexpectedly over the course of two months earlier this year, life sucks right up till the moment you no longer have it I reckon.
@AntisocialTroll that's why Live a loved life with your beloveds till it gets over like a bubble.

There were times i wished for that.

@SW-User Death can seem tempting but it will come anyway. It is the one thing we never have to try for.

My father died from a brain aneurysm in his sleep. Apparently never felt a thing from what i`m told.
If I go that way before seeing any more of your food porn, I`m coming back to haunt you. 🤭👻

This is why i make it a point to not take any shit from anyone. You die if you're brave and you die if you're a pussy so you might as well be brave.
Miram · 31-35, F
@Eternity I relate to this so much. Someone recently asked me to not talk about something because of extremists.
Like extremists need a reason to kill me if they wanted to..a reason made of words, when they can just mention my life choices and put me on a list.
People act like there are guarantees..if you kiss ass enough, they will spare you but that's just a lie.
And it doesn't matter if you really are spared if you're going live long life miserable and never free

It is how much of my family died.
My father had his fatal heart attack when he was 67 (the age I,am now), and no other male ancestor on his side of the family lived as long as he did.
I might be nearing my expiration date

@SW-User Doctor of deez nutz
it’s a really scary thought. i don’t know if the afterlife exists or not, so i try to live every day like it’s my last just in case

It's particularly hard for those who know that they are going to die and fear going to sleep because they might not wake up. Those with a terminal illness, for example.

I must die in battle, like any true Klingon
Get me comfortable shoes n see me fly high.

@Miram I agree.
I guess some who say that haven't seen death right in front of them.

It is not just that.
Acceptance carries the polarity, it doesn't make something bad good.
It accepts something as bad and as good.
Anything less is comforting substitute.

Happened to the man who would have been my brother-in-law. At 21 went to bed, never woke up. Such a tragic loss.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
It’s really something knowing that could happen at any moment.

Ah well. When I go, I go. Doesn't matter much either way to me.

@Miram My life, I suppose. I'm just another human. In a few decades I'll be gone and forgotten. It's inevitable, so I just accept it.
Miram · 31-35, F
@SW-User
I disagree but I am going to avoid discusssing this since it is entirely personal choice to value or devalue the human experience and I am not sure what extent we are talking about. And I am way too drained after 13 hours work.

@Miram true, true. That's just my personal take on my own life.
Anyway, I hope you're able to get a good rest now. 13 hours of work would exhaust anyone.
