I like it!

One of my favourite lyrics from The Roots is “[i]the Devil wants me as is, but God, he wants more[/i]”

I like that dichotomy - accepting ourselves for who we are along with our “sins”, or continually demanding from ourselves something better.

I think I fall into the former.

@Carlisle that’s right - “Black Thought” is the lyricist, and “Questlove” on drums. They have some great songs.
