What do you do when its all feeling too much?

Lots of things going on lately, plus one very large work assignment. Some days its all easily handled, but on others, there are so many extra things going on that just overwhelm my senses and I find myself full of anxiety. Sometimes I find that just waiting for the right time works, but on others it seems to become more and more elusive as time goes on. Anyone have any advice for how to deal with the more challenging days?

When I found myself in that situation, I would sit down and list everything going on, things that need to be done, etc. Then I check those that are top priority, and admit that some things are more important then others. I try to reorganize my list with most important or most pressing on top and least important or least pressing on the bottom. I create a schedule. Then I get to work on it. Sometimes I have to go to the people at the bottom and tell them they will have to wait. It's not a perfect system, but it helps me get control of things.,

what MUST get done first focus on...check it off to-do list and knock em out one at a time if possible
