"Why don't you?" Grrrr.

It seems that whenever I'm doing something there will be at least one person saying "Why don't you"... (do it some other way).

It's because this is the way I choose to do it, you ********* nitwit!

I don't understand these know-alls. Maybe I unwittingly radiate some kind of aura of - what? - helplessness? Or are they just people trying to reduce their own feelings of insecurity by always professing superior competence.

Watever ... my internal response, occasionally voiced, is "Why don't you" ... (two short words).

{@really] in some cases it it not a case of being a know it all .sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can see a more practical way to do something with a less fuss. do not be in a hurry to judge them as interferring as there suggestion maybe better than you think

@smiler2012 When it's an unsolicited suggestion to alter the way I'm doing something with which I'm happy and having no difficulty (as it too often is), I consider it superfluous interference. With certain people it's utterly predictable. A sort of ingrained habit of one-upmanship.
