Can we have a laugh about the ridiculous things people say when you are bereaved.

When my mum died
OP. You find yourself a nice boyfriend.

Me. I wasn't having an affair with my mum

OP. You know what I mean

Me. No actually I don't. My mum knew about the men in my life

3 months after my boyfriend died
Have you found another boyfriend yet?

Reminds me of my former boss.
My sister passed, then my mom passed and he's immediately all "I'm going to find you a boyfriend so you can settle down and start a family."
Because, yeah, that's #1 on my list of concerns. 🙄

Your boss had no idea how hard taking care of a family is.
