I miss him so f**king much.

It's been almost a month since he shockingly and upsettingly passed away. He really was my world and I was with him all the time and I loved him so much.. I really do miss him every day. And today it randomly hit me harder than usual..

Wow...I have had that heartbreak of loss of a pet many times. Eight times thus far, and 3 more future events about the house, now.

But your special connection with your special boy is *your* relationship to grieve as you must.

Allow yourself the time to deal with it. It is hard. That's ok--real affection leads to real loss, so your tears honor the love & attachment, the connection you shared.

Yes...the lack of his sounds, his smells, him licking you, him wanting to be with you, him being beside-himself happy when you come back...those things you'll miss.

You chose well, as did he.
