Why is it socially acceptable to be racist towards white people?

Because double standards 🙄

That's a problem.
Another non-student of history. 🙄

We are talking about right now, not history.
@Clouds: Right now is because of history, and it's about to repeat itself because people don't acknowledge it.

That includes all racist people, none of it is ok, and that's what people don't get.
@Clouds: None of it is ok, that is correct. You claimed it was acceptable against whites, because that's your perception. Racism is actually much more than someone calling you a name.

What is it then? Denying you things because of the color of your skin? I know all about that. Grants, gov. assistance,

@Clouds: i agree if we are serious about having justice and equality for all we need a zero tolerance no double standard policy.

That's all I'm saying.
@Clouds: I was thinking more like jobs, housing, service, because that still happens. How do you know grants and government assistance were denied because of your color ? Did they tell you ?
Nebula · 41-45, F
They didn't have to tell me.
@Clouds: Then you assumed, because plenty of whites receive govt assistance. It's different when you send someone white in for a flat and they have one for rent---right after they've told you there are no vacancies. That kind of thing still happens.

I don't see any privelleges, I work hard to eat and take care of my children, period.
@Clouds: So do I. I've never been on assistance in my life. Never even had to apply for it. I have a college degree, a 35 year career in business. Hasn't stopped people from following me around in stores or advising me that they "accept food stamps". They're the little things, the misperceptions that you can take for granted.

Yeah, well I would never tell you to just accept that behavior like people on here are saying to me. I don't accept any negative behavior from people, I don't give an f-word what their skin color is. Humans are humans and that's all I see.
@Clouds: That's a good thing. I wish I could block people in real life sometimes. I've blocked about 270 people here, a large number of them having said something ugly about blacks in general or me in particular.
