Wording here is important. VRAM (video RAM) and "virtual" RAM also called VRAM is the difference I suspect.
Notice on your printout below your cursor it says "Shared memory"? That is "virtual RAM". So it's possible he wasn't exactly lying. Just being deceptive. 😒
Not much you can do about it either in many states. Most don't have laws about being deceptive. 🤷♂️

@Number5 games need Video RAM to run faster. Virtual RAM helps some yet is slower. Virtual RAM is highly dependant on the speed of your storage device plus the speed of your computers RAM. The two makeup virtual RAM.

@Number5 that he deceived you is likely. BTW How much regular RAM does your laptop have? That's what he could have ment. 2 gigs of computer RAM, which is not video RAM.
