Do you have an interest or hobby that just surprises the hell out of people!?

I play the piano. It’s not a unique hobby or anything but I always get a surprised “really?!!” from people whenever I bring it up

I don't think anything surprises most around me anymore. They've grown use to me taking interest in many new things. My latest is a chain saw. :)

I study sociology. That surprises most people

I make harps. Not kits or anything - draw designs, timber, etc. Started because I was in a rut with guitar, heard an Irish harp and was so ignorant I thought it would be simple to make. I couldn't even hammer a nail straight. All the barriers were just things to learn. The harps are beautiful and sound beautiful.
But have lots of interests. Paint in oils. Brew fine ales. Write books. Woodwork (came from learning to love the journey when building that first harp.) Play bass, guitar, mandolin/ mandola... Not enough time for everything.

I build model cars…and I play the harpsichord.

I restore vintage audio equipment.

I can code
I know how to work on cars/motorcycles.
I love repairing computers and have been building them ever since I was 7 years old.
