What is this sickness called?

Why is it that we care a lot about how other people think of us? What kind of monster is this? Where does it come from?

When you are walking, you think everybody is going to judge how you walk..

When you are eating, you think everybody is going to judge how you eat..

When you want to say something, you think everybody is going to criticize you for what you are going to say..

When you want to do sth, you are afraid of making mistakes so that everybody makes fun of you..

You may think some of these are exaggeration, but there are really people who think this way...

Have you ever suffered from this? What did you do? Where does it come from? Is it even possible to overcome it?

Just tell what the heck is this? 馃槀

Too often, people do judge us for many things.
I quit caring when people made me feel I wasn't good enough to fit in and I shouldn't do the things I really like.
You do what's right for you and what you feel is right.

@SW-User We can never stop people from judging us, blaming us or making fun of us, we can not control others..

But can we control ourselves? Can we really stop caring about all this stuff?

Why not? I have nothing to lose. I'm not trying to impress anyone or find a date... I am on my own and doing what makes me happy. I feel if people don't like me how I am, I am better off on my own. I don't want to change or pretend to be how I am not. I have found that happy spot where I am fine with me. lol I still improve, but for myself.
