Do u believe in long distance relationship

I think it works for those who can afford to travel seven oceans far and really meet them. It may take 3-5 years but it works. Hopefully if the couple marries and relationship doesn't end in divorce is a blessing. But alas, I had one with a Philippines girl, I found out she was just playing around. So that option was never serious. And then another in Europe, but I am not financially well to go there from India. Also I think she wasn't into me as a relationship, but just as a friend. I had few considerations from India too where I live, but again my financial condition came in way. 32 years, single. That's my situation. I used to think world is small enough when you find your wish to be future partners in another continent through internet. But meeting in real, then it becomes world is big for people who can't afford to travel long distance. It's only small world for people who are financially well and can afford to go. I have seen many YouTube videos of long distance relationship (LDR) reunion. God bless them. I don't believe in being single. I want to earn well and help others too. Don't know what will happen in future. I have many ideas to work out but I am confined not to. Thanks.

It is best to date locally instead of having to uproot everything over something that probably won't work out long term anyways.

I am a living proof of that yes it can happen. It happened to me. It took a year to meet mostly due to corona this year but yes youre right. You must be able to afford a plane ticket accomodation spare cash etc...Surely one or both together can save for that so you can see each other. I didnt plan on meeting a guy online i wasnt on dating site
. We met playing a video game online and just hit it off straight away. We both wasnt looking but he was so sweet to me even before we exchanged pics or spoke that i liked him already. His personality and kindness he showed me especially. I have no regrets. We are together now and met him for the first time 2 weeks tomorrow but weve been talking to each other for around a year now. Yes we were lucky because we can afford it and it took me weeks and lots of stress to arrive to him due to covid and restrictions and quarantine etc.. but we made it. He is who i thought he was but look slightly different from the video calls and pics etc..but overall is all good and glad i made the decision. Its somewhat exciting

Yo, the signs should've been apparent with that Philippine girl yo.. That place is like number 1 for money grabbing... Not that I blame them, of course.. But precautions must be taken. ┬┴┬┴┤•ᴥ •ʔ

It’s a very rare thing, kinda like the lottery?

@Mindful No. It's just where the destiny takes us.
