What are your 3 biggest regrets in Life?

1. Not working at an earlier age: I am 31 and started working at like 26. I feel had I started working at an earlier age I would actually have some savings and would have my own place.

2. Unnecessary spendings: I have wasted a lot of money on food, liquor/beer and escorts. Have been going through a lot these few years and resorted to indulging in food, liquor/beer and escorts to drown my sorrows and pain. Something I deeply, deeply, deeply regret. The money I spent on those things I could've saved.

3. Not focusing on myself: I spent so many years living for other people that I forgot myself. Had I spent that time on myself and my self improvement I would be in a much better place.

Never having kids.

@DeWayfarer Must be lonely not having a family of your own I'm planning never to marry [c=#008099](if I never meet the man who doesn't have everything I want in a man. Would rather be alone than settle for less)[/c]. Don't want kidsof my own either but when I get back on my feet I want to adopt.

@Lichocolati I am the last of my father's line. 🤷‍♂️

It makes a difference to me. 😔

I don't judge others for their choices though.

@DeWayfarer you had siblings though?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Lichocolati all half siblings are old enough to be my parents. In fact two have kids older than me.
Lichocolati · 31-35, F
@DeWayfarer Are you close with them despite the age difference?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Lichocolati ostracised 15 years ago. Haven't heard from them since. Never was treated as a part of the family anyway.

@DeWayfarer awww that's sad. I wish things don't turn out that way with any of my siblings. I've noticed that we are not as close as we used to be before some had kids but I guess it's a part of life. Who do you spend Christmas with and all them other holidays people spend with their family
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Lichocolati ostracised means no contact what so ever! Not even an email!

No one!
Lichocolati · 31-35, F
@DeWayfarer Yeah I know what that means. Thought maybe you got friends you see as family. We had a family friend [c=#008099](the lady was my grandma's maid and because she was estranged from her family she left her son with my grandma when she married another guy and my grandma raised him as her grandson) [/c] even when she died we still treat her kids as family

@Lichocolati I don't. Read my profile and perhaps you might understand.

@DeWayfarer Aww I'm sorry you have to go through life all alone. I just can't begin to imagine how lonely it can get 😞
