The fact there are imaginary numbers in Maths is proof that humans create their own problems to cry about.

I don't get your point.
Imaginary numbers make a lot of sense, and they are used all the time to [u]solve[/u] problems, for example in the field of electrical engineering.

Actually imags were invented primarily to solve problems (just like reals), not to create beauty. But of course you are right, complex number maths is beautiful. Pictorial representations of complex functions look like works of art. In a sense they are.
