What those people are doing is their own choice...

..both you and them are using his death as an excuse for what they really want to do and say deep down..

You said what the looters is their own choice, that they’re using this tragedy as a means to do and say what they really want and me and the OP as well, whatever that means. How is any of that an answer to my question on how this post is cheapening George Floyd’s death?

@Carver His death was a clear case of murder or manslaughter at the very least. It was also a case of gross misconduct...His death is an indictment on everything your country is supposed to stand for...This incident is a very serious event

...saying how would he feel and associating him directly with all this destruction takes the focus away from the crime that was committed against him..ie: it cheapens his death!

@Mandalorian Now that’s an actual answer. But I don’t really see how addressing the looters and destruction cheapens his death. What do you propose then? That we just ignore all of that and let them get away with it?

@Mandalorian So address and only the looters, don’t make any mention of the fact that it’s stemmed from the killing of George Floyd because that’s cheapening his death. Still don’t really understand that reasoning, but okay.
