The first thing that you are wrong is that you believe the virus is from wild animals and you don't know/care where the animals get it from.
Will there be more animals get sick and infect people?
Are there more viruses that's hidden in the wild animals, farmed animals, fishes from the sea, that are undetectable?
Is it worth to do every tests of what you are going to eat?
Does anyone have the resource to do that?
Is your body strong enough to handle it? Are you going to survive from it?
The system/countries is built upon one thing that is the same for everyone, but is it?
Can you control the world? Can you adapt to a new world?
Even China apologies in a political way/publicly, will it make a difference? To whom?

@TheDog0 All the major viruses have come from wild animals and more so, people carelessly processing wild animals. They know this for sure, only conspiracy theorists that want to maintain the status quo, not do anything about animal agriculture, and factory farming (responsible for a lot of animal diseases that get transferred to humans) say otherwise.

@SatanBurger You are overthinking. There is a large population in China. And there is little to be hunted.American eat a lot more wild animals than Chinese per person. Most wild things had been eaten up long ago. People had eaten multiple times more wild animals dacades ago than they do today.
Don't focus on the "wet-markets". It's just what's legal and what's illegal. Doesn't mean they are not going to be eaten.
So what's the point?
It can't be controlled, it's nature and human is the top predator.

That's the naturalistic fallacy. Viruses wipe us out in large numbers, obviously, we're not the top predator, viruses are. Go into a cage with a bear, with NO weapon and let me know how big of a predator you are. A lion and a bear would probably be evenly matched but a human will DIE without a doubt 🤷♀️
Are you going to be galloping in the field, sink your teeth into a nice Gazelle while it lashes in your mouth to eat the corpse raw? How come predators can eat meat raw but when we do, we get parasites? How does this work in your head?
I would give anything to see a human galloping naked in a field trying to hunt a Gazelle with their teeth because it would be hilarious to see them get kicked in the face 😂

I find it odd you want America to improve the lives of China but you don't want to do the work that will get China a better life and give them better food. You say nothing can be done but there's a million things that can be done.

The virus came from Pangolines, something used widely in Chinese medicine and is native to China. The meat at the wet-markets are also so there's that. There are animals smuggled in from other countries.

Chinese have always had faster-growing technology, why is it that you have technology but no food. I have, if we reduced factory farming and China installed policies to make their food supply safer, the probability of getting a virus would be lower. Viruses can jump from animal to animal, therefore having them all crowded and bred for mass overproduction would increase the likelihood.
While on the other hand, the happenstance that if a bat just landed on a cow and you happened to eat the cow would probably be a lot lower.
That is math.
