For what??? It's a virus... no one apologises to the rest of the world when the first case of flu occurs every year!!!

@HootyTheNightOwl Im stupid for asking a question??? I never said they did or didn't just wanted to get peoples opinions. And I meant the Government, not the people. Sorry should of clarified
@Kidreamer Yep... it's stupid to think that China are entirely in the wrong when governments in the rest of the world never dealt with the threat in an appropriate way after it was discovered - are they dealing with it appropriately now??? No freaking way.

Why should China own up to it's wrongs when the rest of the world won't own up to their failings in this.

@HootyTheNightOwl Well the Chinese government waited 1-2 month to even admit there was a virus to begin with. In that time people who had the virus were traveling to different countries spreading the virus without knowing. That's why Italy which is one of the top vacation destinations of Chinese were hit so hard. Had they listened to whistleblower doctors like the one who unfortunately died, who were warning the Chinese government about it, they would have better contained the spread. 1-2 extra months would have given governments more time to prepare.
@Kidreamer Yes, the Chinese handled it incorrectly from the start and it was allowed to get out and affect the rest of the world - of course, the governments of other countries have done such a stellar job of handling it so much better than the Chinese that we never had any shortages of toilet paper or hand sanitizer, did we???

Maybe if such items had been rationed from the start, then more of the vulnerable people might have been able to get their hands on them and I might not have been stuck in isolation before my time. Can we blame China for our poor planning and response to the situation while we are doing???

Perhaps it's also China's fault that we never closed the tunnel and advised people to not gather in pubs before we closed schools to prevent the spread of the virus???

No, all the time in the world wouldn't erase the shoddy reactions that we are seeing right now or the lack of information trickling down to those that really need to know it.

@HootyTheNightOwl Not saying the US government handled the situation well. We have a President and supporters of his who didn't think the situation was that serious to began with. Closing schools, pubs, restaurants etc... are a good way to stop or slow the spread of the virus but its going to be tough on people who live paycheck to paycheck who can't work from home to make money.

Unless the government provides financial support to people in need. We are going to have chaos and anarchy on our hands. As for people buying large amounts of products and hoarding it. Cant blame the government for that. It's just people being stupid and greedy, trying to make money in a bad situation.

@Kidreamer Accept it, dude. It's how US is made and why you can have more resources than the rest of the world. Your world will fall apart if you change your mind around it.

Chaos is what made America great. And the virus is still not serious for the country.
Kidreamer · 31-35, M
@TheDog0 Not sure what you mean bro
TheDog0 · 31-35
@Kidreamer Do you know your country?
Kidreamer · 31-35, M
@TheDog0 Yes I do, not sure what you mean by my world will fall apart if I change my mind
TheDog0 · 31-35
@Kidreamer Your country, dude. The world you live. Chaos is what you should have.
@Kidreamer Smdh!!! So, as long as the healthy are able to get out and earn their wage, that's all that matters to you???

Meanwhile, millions of people around the world are going to die from coronavirus simply because our governments didn't tighten isolation rules quickly and effectively enough for us to be able to isolate ourselves through the worst of it... and you think China should apologize to the world???

How is China responsible for the fact that vulnerable single parents can't isolate themselves because their children still have to go to school and they have no one to take little Johnny to school and back???
Kidreamer · 31-35, M
@HootyTheNightOwl How did you come up with that conclusion from my statement. Stop taking what I am saying and twisting it around. I agree with the fact that people should self isolate. However the government has to help people who are unable to work due to that self isolation. There are people who are not financial stable and live pay check to paycheck. They don't have the luxury to work from home like I do. So I hope the government can help them financially so they can be able to pay for food and other supplies while they self isolate. Here in NYC we have schools and other programs who are stepping up to provide food and other supplies for the needy. If you listened to the news you would realize that here in NYC and other states schools are closed. So little Johnny does not have to go to school. I understand how important self isolation is. However instead of the government spending trillions of dollars to bail out wall street, they should use that money to provide more testing and more supplies and support for the needy. If things really get bad and people aren't able to access food and other necessities, we'll see riots in the streets. Had China been more straight forward and informed the world about the Crisis as many Chinese doctors told them to do. They would have more time to prepare. China knew about the virus since November of last year and refused to admit that there was a problem, had china been more strict of the sell of exotic animals we most likely would not be in these bad times. Look at Sars from 2002. It came from China due to them eating animals that carry multiples viruses. But they refused the crack down on wet markets who sell these animals. History repeats itself, if China does not step up and take a hold of the sell of exotic animals the next pandemic might be worst then this one.
@Kidreamer Again, you speak only for New York and America. not everyone has the same provisions as New York or even America. Over here, Johnny still needs to go to school.

We already agree on the fact that the virus comes from China... I can't agree with you more with the more facts you give to me - however, if the meat came from an illegal source, I doubt that the criminals will have written to law enforcement and announced what they are doing any more than immigrants send a map to US border agents.

@HootyTheNightOwl Just curious which country do you live?
