You're confusing hunger signals with the actual thirsty signals. Drink water and you won't feel hungry. If that doesn't work, then it's most likely a stomach ulcer.

Thanks. I've been told that many times - to drink water so I don't feel hungry, but only now has it made actual sense to me why.
