How can I stop worrying about my friend getting to work (and home again) safe in times of storm or winter?

@Fungirlmmm and get dressed as superman beforehand? :P
scooogy · 31-35, MVIP
@Fungirlmmm I rather thought of getting her to move to my area (where she actually works)

@scooogy Maybe if you want to wear a cape I wouldn't judge you, or maybe purchase a 4x4. I recommend a Jeep product for this purpose Lots of us drive in inclement weather and we don't wear capes though. Just in case you aren't so good at driving in the snow be sure to wear clean undies with no holes.

@Fungirlmmm I once saw her walk to her workplace by foot, but that was for a late shift :/ ... God, how seconds later I get that her friends have a car themselves -.-
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@scooogy maybe you could walk with her if it is that close.

@Fungirlmmm it's 15 minutes by bike.

@Fungirlmmm @scooogy this all seems like wah too much work & thought... I'm changing my answer to scrap the plan & go back to worrying...
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@scooogy Oh that's not that far. If I was worried I would take her and pick her up every day.

@SW-User I prefer her self-organization here because she's used to getting up early far better than me and I don't like her to depend on someone as irreliable as me :/
scooogy · 31-35, MVIP
@Fungirlmmm I don't have a car, nor does she :/ but her friends do. And her one friend lives in my area as well, at least that's what she said.

@scooogy I am flat outta ideas scooogy... So many variables!
scooogy · 31-35, MVIP
@SW-User That's just like in my job, but I get you :) summed up, she could either get picked up by her friend or sleep over at her place in case of need. Anyway I'd only feel reliable enough for letting her sleep over at my place in case she couldn't sleep over at her friend's place, since I have no car.
SW-User
@scooogy well hell, I would think that your idea of moving to where she works would alleviate the worry, but I'd imagine if it were that simple, well... (And I am pretty positive there are no words of advice I could give you to help with making that an easy solution)...
scooogy · 31-35, MVIP
@SW-User I think after all it's all about her distance to her workplace.
