How can I stop worrying about my friend getting to work (and home again) safe in times of storm or winter?

@SW-User That's just like in my job, but I get you :) summed up, she could either get picked up by her friend or sleep over at her place in case of need. Anyway I'd only feel reliable enough for letting her sleep over at my place in case she couldn't sleep over at her friend's place, since I have no car.

@scooogy well hell, I would think that your idea of moving to where she works would alleviate the worry, but I'd imagine if it were that simple, well... (And I am pretty positive there are no words of advice I could give you to help with making that an easy solution)...

@SW-User I think after all it's all about her distance to her workplace.
