Why am I so scared to speak my mind and run away from confrontation (honest answers)?

When confrontation is coming, I rub. My ex friend wants to talk to me. She removed me from her Facebook friends. I didn't do anything. She seems pissed. Her dad messaged me to message her ASAP. That was three weeks ago.
