Well he lied about not meeting her, that’s the bottom line. He acted like a sleaze ball and is trying to cover shit up. He should have just come forward with the truth. Perhaps it would have been easier. He knew he’d get into hot water for this if found out.

@SW-User Okay, let’s assume you are correct in all you say about him. Does being a liar, and a sleaze ball make you guilty before being charged with any crime? If so, we’d better lock up most politicians, and destroy their lives.

SW-User
@Carissimi I’m not sure, I do however know that there is more riding on it than simple sleaze. It’s the reputation of the royals who have all sorts of political and financial associations - god only knows what...so if you are aware that those actions can affect a whole range of people and affect their lives negatively then perhaps yes. He knew what it would do, and he didn’t care...the fallout from this could have consequences the general public aren’t even aware of.

@SW-User I get that part, I really do. The optics look very bad, and I believe stepping back from public duties is the right thing, but it still doesn’t make me believe in her story, completely. Some of it, yes, but without a criminal investigation, there are too many questions left unanswered.

SW-User
@Carissimi Well yes of course - these things need to be investigated through the proper channels, I am in agreement with that. Maybe we shall never know the truth.
