I am really not sure. That being said I don't think a 17 year old is incapable of making decisions. She knew what she was doing at the time and Andrew may be sexually immoral but what he did was not the result of him being a pedophile. She was a young woman not a child.

@Mountainlady16 Agreed. 16 is age of consent in most countries. No I am not in favor of prostitution or sex slavery but call a spade a spade. Andrew is not a pedophile as properly understood. No I am not a fan of the man and don't support what he did for an instant. Still lets keep our terminology straight so we don't diminish the horror that is true pedophilia.

@hippyjoe1955 I agree. The outrage mob are calling him a pedophile, but having sex with a person above the age of consent is not pedophile. It may be unseemly considering the age difference, but it wasn’t a crime.

The question is, did she truly consent or not? And that can be subjective.

@Carissimi He was in his 40s. He is 59 now and he was hanging out with Epstein in 2008 which would make him 48 at the time. Certainly old enough to know better. Thinking with the wrong head one would assume.

@hippyjoe1955 I calculated he was 41. She said she slept with him in 2001, so that would be 18-years ago. The age is immaterial, except it may seem creepy, but not unlawful.

@Carissimi Yeah I really don't get the age difference thing so long as both parties are capable of giving informed consent. I don't agree with what Andrew did on a completely different basis than on age. A man his age ought to know how to keep it in his pants and not put himself in this silly position.
