Sure Mark - that's exactly how it works. So, when cars roll off the line, eventually you should be able to drive one away - Afterall, part of what went into all the cars is yours. Or maybe it's that you get a lug nut and I get a front seat. You'll have to talk to AOC for the details.
MarkPaul26-30, M
@Budwick Base-level doesn't include manufactured cars.
chrisCAM
@Budwick I believe he is talking about basic needs, but leave it to an American to make it political. 馃槒
Budwick70-79, M
@MarkPaul Oh, base level.
So, some part of all the .... aluminum in the world belongs to you?
And how does that figure - cuz you exist?
Budwick70-79, M
@chrisCA You don't think the whole question smacks of communism?
SW-User
@Budwick i dont think it is communism to say no one should starve to death
chrisCAM
@Budwick Communism is what some nations got when the wealthy ignored the plight of the poor. A "let them eat cake" attitude is not going to allow you to sleep easily at night.
Budwick70-79, M
@chrisCA Agreed.
Communism is also what you get when people like the OP state that part of everything belongs to all of us.
SW-User
@Budwick meeting basic necessities is not communism, certainly not any bastardized communism that has ever existed.
so the original question was should people across the globe have basic necessities met
Budwick70-79, M
@SW-User

YOU say -
people across the globe have basic necessities met
The OP says -
base-level amount of the planet's resources for security and survival?
I was informed by the op that
Base-level doesn't include manufactured cars.
So I queried further -
some part of all the .... aluminum in the world belongs to you
I think it's a poorly worded question. It seems to mean what ever somebody wants to think it means.
SW-User
@Budwick what is the OP? yeah duh on me but oh well
chrisCAM
@SW-User [image deleted]
SW-User
@chrisCA hahahaha thanks
Budwick70-79, M
@SW-User That's not what he said.
Budwick70-79, M
@SW-User OP = original poster
SW-User
@Budwick thanks BW
Budwick70-79, M
@SW-User 馃憤馃徎 I am nothing if not helpful!
SW-User
@Budwick well gosh aint that the truth
MarkPaul26-30, M
@Budwick The question requires the people responding to have a base-level understanding of language and life.
Budwick70-79, M
@MarkPaul
question requires a base-level understanding of language and life.
So, everyone needs to think the way you do to understand?
OK - that sounds like the leftist Mark I know!
SW-User
@Budwick not what he said.
base level means necessities met, take a basic econ class
Budwick70-79, M
@SW-User Now we have yet another definition of 'what he said'.

You should see how they've bastardized Maslow's hierarchy of needs pyramid! You can find hundreds if not thousands of variations!

I think the problem is that you guys want free stuff and can't agree on what's the most important of the stuff you get for free is.
SW-User
@Budwick i go with basic econ
Budwick70-79, M
@SW-User Basic econ has nothing to reference as easily as I just did?
SW-User
@Budwick food shelter clothing
Budwick70-79, M
@SW-User That's p[art of Maslow's thing.
What did they call it in basic econ? The DNC platform?
