Do you plan to off yourself once your body gets too crippled?

It's my plan! I don't want to be hobbling around on a walker. It's onto the next life for me, or better yet, nothing at all!!

Yep, me too. I don't have any relatives or friends that would miss me so there's no point to sticking around physically disabled and being a burden on medical staff. Every year i run up the second highest mountain in Victoria called Mt Feathertop. It's about 22km round trip up to about 6000ft. Have been doing it just before winter every year since i was 15. One day i'll get to the summit and just die and they'll find my body frozen in about 50 years when all the snow melts. I'll leave you my benzodiazapine collection in my will 馃ゴ

Here's a pic from the top before the snow.

@SW-User Now what's the way to go!! To go with nature! You could always fill yourself with pills at the top so you dont feel any pain. I'm thinking a shitload of my epilepsy tablets, something sharp from Bunnings to dig into my neck and then fall from somewhere very high. That'll do it.

@Allelse Actually if i wanted to end it, i could just take my benzo's while sitting in the snow at 6000ft. I'd fall asleep and that'd be the end. Actually when i do run up there, i don't take any supplies or food other than just running shoes, shorts and a t-shirt. I essentially have to be up and back by the time the sun goes down or it's all over. There's no real margin for error. When i took that photo two years ago, I had about 3 hours to get back to my car. Once about 15 years ago, i timed it badly. The only time ever. It became so completely dark that i couldn't see a foot in front of me. I was about 1km from the car and had to crawl on my hands and knees through mud and wet vegetation. I only found my car about 9pm by feeling it with my hands, that's how dark it was. I was exhausted and drove to the Harrietville pub and when i walked in the door everyone was freaking out... i was covered in leaches but didn't know it. So many ways to die up there lol.

@SW-User Bloody hell!! Yeah you dont want to time it wrong out in the old wilderness. I'm glad you're alright. Gotta be careful, you could end up dinner for the leeches before the old people patrol come to take you away for holding up traffic on the sidewalk.

@Allelse Yes, i guess one day i'll be trying to take my scooter up there and yelling at hikers to get out of the way 馃槵
